The combined prognostic utility of hsCRP, SAA, and IL-6 was evaluated in 3300 LURIC participants undergoing coronary angiography. Co-elevation of these markers characterised a high-risk cardiometabolic phenotype; associations of hsCRP and SAA with mortality weakened on adjustment for IL-6, which alone achieved the highest predictive power (AUC: 0.638). The findings support multi-marker inflammatory profiling for refining cardiovascular risk stratification.
