Apolipoprotein A-II (ApoA-II) was examined as a prognostic marker for cardiovascular and total mortality in the LURIC cohort. Published as a letter with no abstract available, the study identified ApoA-II as a negative risk indicator for both endpoints. These findings suggest that circulating ApoA-II levels may carry independent prognostic information in patients referred for coronary angiography.
