In 2,394 LURIC participants followed for a median of 9.80 years, ANGPTL3/4/8 proteins and complexes were assessed in relation to heart failure (HF) and HF mortality. ANGPTL3 was positively associated with HFpEF and NT-proBNP; CD-ANGPTL4 showed the strongest positive associations with both HF subtypes, NT-proBNP, and HF death (101 events). These results suggest CD-ANGPTL4 may serve as a prognostic marker for HF.
